In an exciting initiative, Vizzy Hard Seltzer has partnered with trans- and queer-owned businesses to launch an online registry that provides gender-affirming gifts, featuring gender-inclusive clothing, cosmetics, and more. Members of the LGBTQIA+ community often encounter obstacles in accessing personal items that affirm their identity, such as apparel and makeup.
Launching this Pride Month and continuing through 2021, the Vizzy Live Proudly Registry allows allies and friends to shop for meaningful gifts for their LGBTQIA+ loved ones, delivering joy and necessities to those often overlooked by mainstream fashion and beauty brands. If we have registries for weddings and baby showers, why not a registry that celebrates and supports trans and queer individuals?
“Let’s celebrate the trans community with the Vizzy Live Proudly Registry—a platform for allies and friends to purchase thoughtful gifts directly from trans- and queer-owned businesses,” reads a statement from the registry.
The Vizzy Live Proudly Registry features a selection of gifts that resonate with the LGBTQIA+ community, all curated to support trans- and queer-owned businesses. Users can create their own registries, choosing from a variety of selected items, including chest binders made by trans individuals from gc2b, Pride streetwear from FLAVNT, makeup for all gender expressions from We Are Fluide, and gender-neutral clothing from A Tribe Called Queer.
To further advocate for the trans, queer, and non-binary communities, Vizzy will randomly select 50 participants to receive $500 towards their registry purchases, in addition to donating $25,000 to the National Center for Transgender Equality, which works to change societal policies and improve understanding and acceptance of transgender individuals. Last year, the beverage brand also contributed $1 million to the Human Rights Campaign, supporting efforts to eliminate discrimination against all LGBTQIA+ people.
Participants can create and manage their registries until the end of the year, allowing loved ones to choose from a delightful range of clothing, cosmetics, chest binders, accessories, and gift cards, showering them with love throughout 2021.
