Is your child captivated by Frozen? Of course they are. Welcome to the unavoidable phases of a Frozen fascination.
Stage 1
Wow, WHAT A FANTASTIC MOVIE!! The empowered female characters, OLAF (so funny!), the stunning snow and ice, the BOND OF SISTERLY LOVE (sniff), and OH, the SOUNDTRACK! It’s simply AMAZING! Hooray for Disney!
Stage 2
“Let it gooooo, let it goooooo, can’t hold it back anymoooore!” (Sigh) Isn’t Idina Menzel just incredible?
Stage 3
“Do you wanna build a snoooowmaaaan? It doesn’t have to be a snooowmaaaan. Okay, byyyyyye.” (Sniff) That scene always gets to me.
Stage 4
Absolutely, kids! Let’s grab the DVD. And the soundtrack too. It’s simply the best Disney movie EVER CREATED!
Stage 5
Oh, how adorable! The kids have memorized all the songs!
Stage 6
How cute! They’re singing “Let it Go” non-stop!
Stage 7
Wow. They’re really belting out “Let it Go” ALL THE TIME.
Stage 8
OH MY GOODNESS, THEY’RE BELTING OUT “LET IT GO” ALL. FREAKING. DAY. LONG.
Stage 9
Please, kids. Just let it go. Seriously. LET IT GO.
Stage 10
Good grief, now it’s all over social media. I have to hear other kids singing it too? How many times does one song need to play before it’s classified as torture?
Stage 11
I’m hearing it in my dreams now. Every single night.
Stage 12
KIDS, IF YOU DON’T STOP SINGING, I’M GOING TO LET YOU GO.
Stage 13
Disney is pure evil and Idina Menzel is the embodiment of chaos.
Stage 14
What’s that, kids? No, I have NO IDEA what happened to the DVD or the soundtrack. Maybe they vanished. Maybe the big snow creature gobbled them up. OR MAYBE YOU WORE THEM OUT SO MUCH THEY JUST GAVE UP EXISTING.
Stage 15
Yes, I know you’re heartbroken, kids. Yes, I understand you can’t “let it go.” Wow, you’re THAT upset, huh? Well… I just have one thing to say: “Let the stoooorm raaaage ooooooooon. The cold never bothered me anyway.”
