But before that, we’ve been treated to a sneak peek of what’s in store.

The trailer kicks off with Moira promoting the newly revamped Rosebud Motel, saying, “You’ll find comfort and safety at the partially renovated Rosebud Motel. And don’t forget to say ‘hello’ to your handsome proprietor, Mister Jonathan Rose.” From there, the emotional moments keep coming: we see Alexis returning, the preparations for David and Patrick’s wedding, and a heartfelt exchange between David and Alexis that is sure to tug at your heartstrings.

As Patrick tells Johnny, “As lucky as I feel to have met David, I also feel incredibly Lucy to be joining your family,” the tears start flowing. Johnny, played by the talented Eugene Levy, shares, “There is value in these motels. My family and I have been staying in a motel for the past three years, and I wouldn’t trade our stay there for anything.” It’s moments like these that make us reflect on family and belonging, leaving us all a bit misty-eyed.

For those who might not know, ‘Schitt’s Creek’ follows the Rose family, who find themselves in the small town of Schitt’s Creek after losing their wealth. The twist? Johnny purchased the town as a joke, and it’s all they have left after their fortune is taken away.

The show stars an incredible cast, including the hilarious Catherine O’Hara as Moira, Dan Levy as David, and Annie Murphy as Alexis. The connection fans have forged with these characters is undeniable.

Eugene and Dan expressed their gratitude, stating, “We are so grateful to have been given the time and creative freedom to tell this story in its totality, concluding with a final chapter that we had envisioned from the very beginning. It’s not lost on us what a rare privilege it is to have been able to share this journey with all of you.”
