While there are undeniable perks to growing up in the 21st century, I can’t help but feel a little nostalgic for my kids, who will miss out on some of the childhood experiences I cherished:
Arcades
Long before gaming consoles were in every home and gaming apps dominated smartphones, there were arcades. These vibrant havens were filled with flashing lights, where a quarter could keep you entertained for hours and your initials meant something.
UHF Channels
Being home sick was made bearable with the treasure trove of black-and-white sitcoms available on UHF channels. The grainy reception added a certain charm to those lazy afternoons.
