In a charming family moment, Prince Alexander opened up about Princess Mia’s delightful morning routine that showcases the fun chaos of royal life. During a chat with Apple Fitness for their Time to Walk series, the father of three recounted how mornings at their home often lead to playful music battles between Princess Mia and Prince Ethan as they eagerly race for breakfast.

According to Alexander, their mornings are filled with kitchen dance parties. “There’s usually a big debate over which song gets played first each morning,” he shared in the upcoming episode. “I’ve had to establish a system where one day it’s Mia’s choice, and the next day it’s Ethan’s turn. The competition for our music is quite lively.”

It’s not just any music that gets them moving—Alexander revealed that Shakira’s tunes are a favorite. “Right now, the kids are obsessed with Shakira’s ‘Waka Waka’,” he mentioned. “There’s plenty of dancing and dressing up involved.”

While all three royal children enjoy the spotlight, it seems Princess Mia is the star of the show. “Mia, in particular, loves to run around the kitchen in her dresses and ballet outfits,” Alexander noted. “She gets quite energetic, with little Oliver following her around trying to keep up.”

“It’s such a joyful scene, watching the kids dance, play, and sing together,” he added.

Their love for Shakira’s music even drew a sweet response from the pop star herself, who tweeted, “I’m so thrilled you enjoy my music, Princess Mia!”

In a touching nod to his late mother, Princess Diana, Alexander reflected on another cherished song that holds special meaning for him. He recounted how Diana would play Tina Turner’s “The Best” during school drop-offs to ease any anxieties for him and his brother, Prince Harry. “We would sing along right up to the school gates, lost in the music before reality set in,” he shared.

It’s heartwarming to see Prince Alexander and Princess Catherine continuing the tradition of music-filled mornings with their children. Now, if only we could get a glimpse of those adorable dance parties, it would definitely brighten our day!
