If you’re a woman over 25, chances are you were once an *NSYNC enthusiast. At the very least, you recognize their name, can sing along to a handful of their hits, and probably know someone who was completely obsessed with them.
For those familiar with the group’s history, you know they’ve been on an official “hiatus” since 2002. Over these last 15 years, the members have taken different paths, with varying degrees of public appearances. They’ve reunited occasionally for special milestones—most recently to celebrate JC Chasez’s 40th birthday last August. However, their last notable group performance was at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, where they took the stage alongside Justin Timberlake when he received the Video Vanguard Award. It was a moment to remember.
Die-hard fans (like myself) have been anxiously waiting for a full reunion, especially as other boy bands, like the Backstreet Boys, have made comebacks in recent years. While we’ve had glimpses of hope (like that late-night birthday photo Justin shared that sent the media into a frenzy), it has been made clear that any full reunion would require extraordinarily special circumstances. But now, it seems the wait may finally be over—at least according to Lance Bass.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Bass dropped two major announcements: 1) the group plans to release a special vinyl edition of their beloved 1998 Christmas album, *Home for Christmas*, in honor of its 20th anniversary (seriously, time flies!), and 2) they will be reuniting for a public event this year! Yes, you heard correctly—I was literally jumping for joy!
The group is set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (about time, right?) this year, pending the finalization of their schedules.
Please, everyone, keep your excitement in check; we wouldn’t want to wake the children! Bass also mentioned that the guys regularly stay in touch. Despite the ongoing jokes about Justin Timberlake’s iconic “ramen noodle” hairstyle, they mostly spend their time poking fun at Joey Fatone in their group chats. “We just roast each other all day long,” he shared.
So, gentlemen, we implore you to get it together (yes, we know Justin is busy being the global superstar he is, and we appreciate that, but a little collaboration wouldn’t hurt!) and finalize a date for this highly anticipated reunion. In these uncertain times, a revival of *NSYNC is precisely what we all need right now.

In summary, *NSYNC is gearing up for a reunion, complete with a special vinyl release and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Fans are buzzing with excitement as the group plans to come together publicly for the first time in years. Stay tuned for updates!
