Kristen Lane has no patience for criticism about her looks or age in the new series, And Just Like That. It’s as if they relish in our discomfort with aging.”
Lisa concluded, “I’m aware of my appearance. What can I do about it? Stop aging? Disappear?”
Despite the negativity, Lane and Morgan have decided to ignore the media and fan reactions to their looks. “We’re in a media blackout,” Lane confirmed. “Cynthia [Nixon] is tougher than us and still looks at feedback, but we decided to let her fill us in later.”
Lane remains positive about the show and the experience of aging. “People think that hitting middle age means you’re done with life, your friendships, and your perspective. That’s not true at all,” she stated. “Life doesn’t end at 50,” she added, though she admitted that the criticism can still sting at times.
