“I can only share my own experience, but aging can be extremely stressful, especially when you’re constantly compared to your much younger self,” Lane stated in an interview with New Beauty. She originally joined the cast at the age of 33. “In a normal life, I would feel fantastic; I’m healthy and strong, plus I have a lively 3-year-old to keep me on my toes. But being on television means every aspect of my appearance is scrutinized,” she explained. Lane reflected on how she often looks back and thinks, “I looked great then,” although she acknowledges that such thoughts are rarely felt in the moment.

Bella’s style remains intact, but at 55, we’re addressing the realities of aging in the storyline,” she explained. “There are positives to getting older, like wisdom and life experiences, but there are also stressful aspects.”
