Britney had filed a motion last November, seeking to replace her father with Bessemer Trust, a group of legal professionals who would oversee her finances and medical decisions. While the judge did permit Bessemer Trust to join the conservatorship as co-conservators alongside Jamie, the push to make them the sole conservator was denied. However, the door remains open for future attempts to remove Jamie from his position.
The court also remarked that Britney is “substantially unable to manage his or her financial resources or to resist fraud or undue influence,” raising eyebrows among fans who question how she can handle a demanding performance schedule while being deemed incapable of managing her own finances.
This latest ruling is a continuation of Britney’s ongoing struggle, particularly following her emotional statements in court where she expressed fear of her father and a desire to cease performing until he is no longer in control.
