There’s a lot I want to share with you about life, starting with the essentials of being a decent human being. This includes learning to share, showing compassion, being kind, and working hard. However, it seems I may have overlooked a crucial lesson that fits into the “don’t be a jerk” category. So, let me be clear: it’s time to start putting your things where they actually belong.
Where Your Stuff Should Go
Now, in case you’re unsure where that is, let’s break it down. All this chaos scattered around the house? Believe it or not, everything has its own designated spot. (Surprise!) Here’s where your stuff should go:
The Trash Can
I’m officially over retrieving squished snack wrappers from the couch. Our living room looks like a cereal box exploded, and I’m tired of finding half-eaten string cheese and juice boxes everywhere. Those items belong in the trash can — you know, that rectangular plastic bin in the kitchen that’s meant for garbage.
The Dishwasher
It seems you think dirty dishes magically disappear and reappear clean. News flash: that fairy is actually “Mom,” and she’s exhausted. Instead of leaving your dirty bowls around, simply open the dishwasher, load it up, and close the door. You can remember this because I’ve seen you master complex video games with ease!
The Hamper
I know you might not appreciate my design choices, but those bins in the laundry room and every bedroom aren’t just for decoration. They are there for your dirty clothes! I don’t want to find your socks on the bathroom floor or strewn from your room to the shower; they should go in the hamper.
The Closet
I understand that sometimes you need your shoes in a hurry, but I promise it will save you time to put them back where they belong. You spend way too long searching for them, so just take a few seconds to return them to the closet after you’re done.
The Toy Box
Think of how the grocery store is organized. It would be a disaster if everything were tossed around. Your toys should be returned to their special box, known as the toy box. Remember that place? Yes, that’s where they go!
The Toilet
On the topic of appropriate places, let’s discuss where your bodily functions should go. There’s a toilet designed for that purpose, so please aim accordingly. And for goodness’ sake, boogers do not go on the wall or wiped on your fingers. That’s why I keep tissues handy all the time.
By reminding you where everything belongs, I’m hoping to achieve a neater home. Or at least one that doesn’t make me long for a housekeeper who isn’t me. You can assist with that, right? Because, in case I forgot to mention, being considerate starts with being good to your mother.
And while you’re at it, if you want to learn more about home insemination and the journey that comes with it, check out this post on artificial insemination. You can also find reliable information on fetal movement at fetal movement or visit ASRM for excellent pregnancy resources.
In summary, putting your things away is a simple act that contributes to a more organized and harmonious home. So let’s all work together to keep things tidy!
