As a parent of a young child, I frequently hear seasoned mothers wistfully advise me to savor these fleeting moments with my little one. They often gaze into the distance, reminiscing about the swiftness of time passing. I nod along, partially in agreement. Indeed, some phases seem to fly by, while others drag on interminably.

From my perspective, this is how it generally unfolds. To all the parents who remind me that “it goes by so quickly,” I want you to know that you are absolutely right. While I may not always want to hear it, I truly understand the sentiment.
