Shocking Incident Involves Officers Screaming at Kindergartener
Can you do self-insemination at home ?
Recently released body camera footage from January 2020 depicts a disturbing encounter between Maryland police officers and a 5-year-old Black kindergartener. The video shows officers yelling at the child just inches away from his face, labeling him a “little beast” and handcuffing him as he cries after allegedly striking a teacher and leaving school premises.
The Montgomery County Police Department shared the unsettling video, which captures two officers forcefully placing the child into the back of their police vehicle while threatening him. One officer can be heard saying, “Does your mama spank you? They need to spank you today,” as the boy sobs inconsolably. “I would have been beaten nine times before I got home. Don’t nobody want to hear that, ain’t nobody listening.”
Viewer Discretion Advised: The footage is extremely distressing.
Following the incident, the child was returned to East Silver Spring Elementary School and placed in a room with the officers, who continued their harsh treatment. Throughout the 50-minute recording, the tension escalates, with the police branding the child as “bad” and suggesting he should face physical punishment.
“I watched in horror as what can only be described as a nightmare unfolded for nearly an hour,” stated local council member Will Jawando. “It made me sick.”
As the child remained in tears, one officer leaned down, yelling directly at him to stop crying, even referring to him as a “horrible little beast.” When the mother finally arrived, the officers shockingly told her to discipline him by hitting him for his emotional response to their aggressive behavior. They stated, “We want you to beat him.” Subsequently, one officer revealed a pair of handcuffs, explaining their purpose by saying, “These are for people who don’t want to listen and don’t know how to act.”
The child’s mother has since filed a lawsuit against Montgomery County, the local school district, and the police department, seeking compensation for the trauma her child endured. “Our hearts ache for this student. There is no excuse for adults to ever speak to or threaten a child in this way,” commented Montgomery County school officials. They emphasized that parents expect their children to be cared for and kept safe in school environments. An internal investigation has been launched by the police department following a complaint; however, both officers involved remain on duty.
