“Scary 12 hours for us parents and stepparents,” Lane posted alongside a picture of Jason resting in his hospital bed. “After being admitted to the ER, Jason had to undergo emergency surgery early this morning. There’s nothing more heart-wrenching than seeing your child in pain 😣. Thankfully, the surgery was successful, and he’s recovering well. We are very grateful to the staff at Mission Hospital for their prompt care. Feeling blessed to have three healthy kids, supportive family and friends, and a husband who is always by my side. Happy Mother’s Day everyone,” she concluded, mentioning her recent husband, Josh Lane.
Tyler Reed and his wife, “Real Estate Dreams” star Emma Bright, also expressed their gratitude on social media. “He’s such a brave kid and can’t wait to eat real food tomorrow, just like his dad ❤️,” Reed shared. “It was a terrifying day, but we all came together as a family to support him. Huge thanks to the doctors and nurses for their incredible care.”
Emma added, “It was the scariest day of our lives, but we’re thankful it was caught early. In moments like these, family support is everything. It’s been an emotional rollercoaster, but he’s doing well and recovering.”
Reed mentioned that Jason had been “extremely unwell” prior to the operation, which is a common procedure for removing an infected appendix, a condition known as appendicitis. Symptoms can include abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, fever, and a swollen belly.
