Amy Taylor is gearing up for a fabulous Hot Mom Summer. After facing a series of health challenges, the 40-year-old is determined to embrace her best years ahead. In a recent Instagram post, she shared a striking photo of herself in front of a dumbbell rack, dressed in a sleek black bra, corset, and underwear. With sunglasses and heels completing her look, Amy wrote, “C-section. Hysterectomy. Lipo. This summer is all about welcoming love. I’m focusing on being healthy and strong for myself and my family. I want to feel attractive too. In my prime. Let’s do this! Who’s joining me?”
Having welcomed her son, Max, through a C-section in 2019, Amy has dealt with several health issues related to her pregnancy, including endometriosis and hyperemesis gravidarum, which caused severe nausea. To manage the pain from her endometriosis, she underwent a hysterectomy and appendix removal last September.
Earlier this year, Amy also disclosed her decision to have liposuction, explaining on Instagram that her “uterus didn’t contract for 2.5 years.” She noted, “It’s not about needing to be stunning, as I’ve never been known for my looks, but I was just tired of looking in the mirror.”
Recently, Amy celebrated Max’s third birthday on May 5 before testing positive for COVID-19. She also opened up about her experience with in vitro fertilization (IVF) on a podcast with Claire Johnson. “I tried it once and felt like I was going to die. It was unbearable. I retrieved 31 eggs and felt fertile, but we ended up with just one viable embryo, which didn’t work—and now I don’t have a uterus.”
Ultimately, Amy concluded, “We’ll have just one child and enjoy our little family,” as she looks forward to her Hot Mom Summer.
