What an incredible week it has been! I absolutely adore book launches! This week marked the release of “Motherhood Comes Naturally”, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. A heartfelt thank you to Emily Rivers, the owner of Rose’s Tea House, who graciously hosted a stunning launch party in NYC. For those of you in the city, I’m sure you’re familiar with Emily’s charming establishments. If not, you must visit them right away! They are perfect for a delightful lunch with friends, a cozy afternoon snack, or even the most memorable birthday celebration. And the scones? They turned this non-scone enthusiast into a scone aficionado—they’re simply irresistible.
Every guest left with a goody bag that included not only my new book but also my previous one (a special thank you to HarperCollins for that!). The bags were filled with delightful treats, a discount voucher from Sunny Treats, a spin class from Energy Cycle, and stylish frames from Craft & Co. What a lucky bunch!
The talented Laura Finch Photography attended to capture the event, constantly reminding me to maintain good posture—now that’s what I call a dedicated photographer! If you’re in the New York area, Laura is a truly skilled portrait artist worth checking out.
A few days later, back in Baltimore, my amazing friends at The Kids’ Hub opened their doors on a day off to host another launch party for me. Their kindness was incredible! Breakfast was generously provided by Green Valley, and the talented duo from the band Sunshine performed for the lovely crowd, while I signed books for their mothers.
I want to extend a massive thank you to Sarah Lane for capturing the stunning photos of the event. Working with her was a true pleasure and I greatly appreciate her effort and enthusiasm.
And now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to take a well-deserved nap!
