Ever have those days where nothing seems to go your way? You know, the kind of days that make you want to unleash a primal scream at every person you bump into? Trust me, you’re not alone. There are countless little things that can spark that rage inside us. Here are just a handful:

  1. Accidentally spilling coffee on your light-colored clothes. “Hi, I’m Lydia, and I clearly have the coordination of a toddler.”
  2. Drivers who dawdle in the left lane. Seriously, move over before I end up bumping your bumper.
  3. Shoppers who fumble around for cash, checks, or coupons once they reach the checkout. Did you not see the line forming behind you?
  4. Parents who think their kids’ chaotic behavior in public is adorable. Spoiler alert: it’s not. Please rein those little monsters in.
  5. Car seats that refuse to cooperate. Why is it so difficult to buckle these things?
  6. Meetings about meetings. Because nothing screams efficiency like wasting time discussing how inefficient everything is.
  7. Bills. Enough said.
  8. Automated customer service lines. I’d much rather yell at an actual person, thank you very much.
  9. Stores where there’s a long line of customers but only two cashiers working. And the staff is just wandering around offering help instead of checking people out. No, I don’t need your help!
  10. People who chew with their mouths open. Were you raised in a barn? Seriously, I want to know.
  11. Liquor stores that close on Sundays. I’m pretty sure God approves of brunch cocktails!
  12. Individuals who don’t hold the door for others. Come on, it takes just a moment to be kind, especially when I’m juggling kids and groceries.
  13. Folks who don’t say “thank you” when someone holds the door. You’re welcome, you ungrateful person.
  14. Doctors who keep you waiting for over an hour, despite your punctual arrival. Clearly, someone needs to manage their time better.
  15. Cable or phone companies that expect you to wait at home for hours. You take time off work, and then they show up while you’re in the bathroom. Great.
  16. People who blare their conversations on their cell phones in public, especially those annoying Bluetooth headsets. Just stop.
  17. Politicians.
  18. Social media moguls.
  19. Fast food joints that consistently mess up your order. It’s really not that complicated!
  20. Filling out the same information on multiple forms at a doctor’s office. Why?
  21. Rude customers towards waitstaff. Remember, these people handle your food. Just think about that for a second.
  22. Wireless phone stores that always seem understaffed. It’s not shocking that people need help!
  23. Christmas ads in September. Seriously, just stop.
  24. Back-to-school ads as early as July. That’s it, I’m going to kick you in the ovaries, marketing team!
  25. Taxes.
  26. Children’s shows that are overly repetitive. Dora, I swear, if you tell me to “vamonos” one more time…
  27. Public restrooms. I can’t be the only one terrified of catching something in there.
  28. Flying. Let’s all cram into a metal tube and share germs for hours. Sounds fun, right?
  29. Traffic jams. Being stuck on a sliver of concrete while freedom lies just beyond my grasp is infuriating.
  30. Celebrities who think their opinions matter more than anyone else’s. Ugh.
