Autistic children have mothers who are truly remarkable. These moms often go to great lengths to ensure their children lead fulfilling lives while navigating a world that is still adapting to their unique needs. As an autistic individual who works with autistic youth as a Speech Language Pathologist in Salt Lake City, I can personally attest to the boundless love, energy, and advocacy these mothers provide.

I often reflect on how my own mother offered me comfort during moments of distress, especially when social interactions felt overwhelming. I remember her patiently guiding me through peer situations, often reiterating her advice multiple times until it clicked. Her unwavering support made a significant impact on my ability to regulate my emotions.
