The Library Room features butterfly decorations that symbolize the “gift of learning.” In the State Dining Room, a remarkable 350-pound gingerbread replica of the White House, crafted by executive pastry chef Mark Stevens and his team, stands alongside other edible structures representing community heroes such as hospitals and fire stations. The State Dining Room fireplace also displays six stockings, lovingly knitted for each grandchild by a Delaware artisan.
