Can you do self-insemination at home ?
Following his recent arrest on child pornography allegations, Josh Duggar has been granted release on bond. Last week, disturbing news emerged regarding Duggar, a former star of “19 Kids and Counting,” who faces charges for receiving and possessing child pornography. During a virtual court hearing, Duggar was allowed to leave the detention facility where he had been held since his arrest, and will reside with friends of the Duggar family, Lacount and Maria Reber, while awaiting his trial.
Court Approval and Conditions
Judge Christy Comstock of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Arkansas approved this arrangement but with strict conditions. Duggar will be monitored via GPS and must remain within the Reber household. Concerns were raised during the hearing by federal probation officer Diem Nguyen, who testified against Duggar’s release, noting that the Rebers sometimes have minor children in their home for piano lessons. Nguyen also highlighted the presence of firearms in the Reber household, which lack a safe for storage.
Maria Reber assured the court that they could conduct piano lessons elsewhere and would secure firearms if Duggar were released into their care. Additionally, Lacount Reber promised that Duggar would not have access to any devices that could connect to the internet. Judge Comstock emphasized her reservations about releasing Duggar to his own home, where he would be with his pregnant wife, Anna, and their six young children ranging from 17 months to 11 years old. She warned Duggar not to make her regret her decision.
Contact with Children
Despite the restrictions, Duggar has been granted “unlimited contact” with his children, provided Anna is present, but he is prohibited from being around any other minors.
Evidence Presented
During the hearing, Homeland Security Special Agent Gerald Faulkner provided testimony revealing that two years prior, the FBI traced child pornography materials downloaded via peer-to-peer file sharing to an IP address linked to Duggar’s used car lot in Fayetteville. Following the investigation, agents seized computers and Duggar’s iPhone, uncovering files depicting the sexual abuse of children under 12 years old. Faulkner described some of the images as among the most disturbing he has encountered in his career, including material involving an 18-month-old child.
Trial Schedule
Duggar’s jury trial is scheduled to commence on July 6, with a pre-trial conference set for July 1. For more information on related topics, visit this excellent resource for pregnancy and home insemination.
