There’s something fundamentally off with Donald Trump. Each day, he manages to remind us just how ill-equipped he is for the presidency. His lack of experience and competence is glaringly obvious to everyone, and honestly, it’s about time someone told him to just sit on his hands. I mean, my 3-year-old has more self-control than he does.
Trump’s Twitter account has become notorious for his incessant barrage of offensive tweets. This past weekend was no exception, as he launched yet another Twitter tantrum. One particularly eyebrow-raising tweet involved mocking Kim Jong Un, who has recently tested a hydrogen bomb, by calling him “Rocket Man.”
YES, LET’S PROVOKE THE PSYCHOPATH WHO MIGHT SPARK A NUCLEAR CONFLICT. (Sarcasm intended.) Seriously, the role of the president is to safeguard American lives, not instigate a childish Twitter feud that could escalate into warfare.
Then there was a tweet he retweeted — a doctored video showing him hitting Hillary Clinton with a golf ball:
BECAUSE VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN IS SO FUNNY. (More sarcasm.) Let’s not pretend this is just a “joke.” Would those who found humor in that video still laugh if it featured Melania? I doubt it. Not long ago, people were outraged over Kathy Griffin’s violent imagery against Trump, so where’s the consistency?
In an unexpected twist, that tweet drew over 30,000 replies, many condemning the promotion of violence toward Clinton, who has Secret Service protection as a former First Lady.
Increasingly, Trump’s presidency is characterized by blatant dishonesty, cruelty, and incompetence. His Twitter account has become a platform for propaganda and incitement.
In July, he shared a video of himself body slamming a man with a CNN logo over his head. Just last month, he retweeted an image of a train running over a cartoon figure with a CNN logo. A White House official later claimed that tweet was an accident and it was deleted.
It’s ironic that people urge Hillary to “shut up and go away,” yet there’s little call for Trump to exercise self-restraint, despite being the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.
At best, Trump seems unstable, and that’s downright frightening when you consider he has control over our nuclear arsenal. I wouldn’t even trust him to care for my pet.
His narcissism and dishonesty have turned into liabilities, and his inability to acknowledge errors or empathize with others has cast a long shadow over his administration. At this point, anyone who still believes he behaves presidentially is utterly delusional.
It’s only a matter of time before one of his reckless comments incites an international crisis. He’s not just an embarrassment; he’s becoming increasingly dangerous.
We need a responsible adult to manage Trump, and fast. If they can’t get him to sit on his hands, let’s at least change his Twitter password.

In summary, we need to address the alarming behavior of our current president. His actions are not just embarrassing; they pose a genuine threat. It’s crucial that we advocate for responsible leadership to safeguard our nation and its values.
