Check out this adorable photo session featuring a girl and her beloved burrito. Growing up in California, I learned that burritos are a serious matter. A burrito from Mission Street in San Francisco could easily last you several meals — but that’s not how we do it. We devour them in one go, and they better be a flawless creation! And don’t even get me started on how crucial the right salsa is, or the perfect guacamole-to-rice ratio.

When crafted with care, burritos are nothing short of culinary masterpieces. So to the girl who gleefully frolicked in a field with her burrito while a professional photographer captured the moment — we totally understand your love.

Photographer Laura René and her daughter, Sophie, were preparing an amazing burrito feast. After taking a bite, Sophie was smitten. “Sophie took a bite and practically melted in her seat, declaring that she would marry her burrito if given the chance,” Laura shared with Home Insemination Kit. “Moments later, she turned to me and said, ‘I know exactly what we’re doing this weekend! We have to do it! I’m in love with him (the burrito), and nothing will change that!’”

Sophie envisioned a wedding photo shoot dedicated to her burrito.

The heart wants what it wants, right? And can you really blame her?

  • Burritos never explain how to use smartphone apps.
  • Burritos don’t ask you to locate their socks.
  • Burritos don’t leave dishes unwashed while piling silverware in the sink.
  • Burritos don’t replace your favorite TV shows with sports events.
  • If burritos could ask for directions, they absolutely would.
  • Burritos would never think of putting an open bag of hotdogs in the fridge without double-bagging it, for crying out loud.

Burritos before boys — this girl is totally onto something!
