Important Recall Notice for 4moms MamaRoo and RockaRoo Baby Swings

Hey friends! I wanted to share some important news about 4moms and their popular MamaRoo and RockaRoo baby swings. They just announced a recall affecting over 2 million units due to a strangulation hazard. It’s pretty serious – there’s been one tragic death linked to this issue and another incident where a baby sustained neck bruising. The problem arises when the restraint straps dangle below the swings when they’re not in use, which can pose a risk for crawling babies who might get tangled in them.

What You Can Do

But don’t worry, there’s a way to fix this! If you have one of the affected models, you can order a free strap fastener that attaches to the seat’s back and keeps the straps out of reach. It’s a smart move to get one, even if your little one isn’t crawling yet. Until your strap fastener arrives, it’s best to keep the swings out of reach of little explorers. Oh, and if you have the new MamaRoo model that came out in July 2022, you’re in the clear since it has a redesigned harness system.

In Summary

In summary, if you own a MamaRoo or RockaRoo, make sure to check if it’s part of the recall and order that strap fastener for added safety. Stay safe and informed, everyone!
