In a cringe-worthy incident captured on video, a mother unleashed her fury on two restaurant workers after they mistakenly included green peppers in her order. This self-proclaimed “customer from hell” made it clear that her children refuse to eat anything green, justifying her over-the-top reaction and harsh words toward the employees. A bystander recorded the entire episode and shared it on Reddit, where it quickly went viral.

The most distressing aspects of this encounter are hard to pinpoint. Is it the shrillness of her voice? Her blatant lack of respect for others? Perhaps it’s simply a reminder that such individuals exist in our society. Regardless, the conclusion of the video offers a delightful twist of fate that I won’t spoil for you just yet.

This mother’s behavior is truly appalling. Brace yourself for her voice, which grates like nails on a chalkboard. But trust me, the payoff for enduring this spectacle is well worth it: the universe has a way of delivering justice.

Entitled Mother: “Listen up! If you want to be polite to your customers, you should speak English here in America. My kids don’t eat green things; they only eat red peppers!”

I never thought I could feel such strong disdain for someone I’ve never met. Why didn’t anyone in the restaurant tell her to calm down? I find satisfaction in standing up for those who might not be able to defend themselves.

Employee: “If you’d like, we can prepare a new order for you.”
Entitled Mother: “How long will that take?!”
Employee: “About fifteen minutes.”
Entitled Mother: “Fifteen minutes?! I don’t have that kind of time for you not understanding English or getting my order right! You need to get it right the first time. The customer is always right. This is unacceptable!”

The tirade continues until we reach the glorious moment at the end of the video when she attempts to exit the establishment and hilariously fails, colliding with the door. Seriously? This is America! Get it right the first time.

To be transparent, I worked as a bartender for a significant part of my adult life, so I may be particularly sensitive to rudeness towards restaurant staff. But honestly, this woman is beyond insufferable. At least her kids weren’t present to witness such terrible behavior. What kind of role model does that make her? And it’s important to note that the phrase “the customer is always right” does not excuse such outrageous meltdowns over minor inconveniences.

Thank you, universe, for that comedic moment when this woman met her match with a door. You truly got it right the first time.
